Russell Corrosion Consultants, (RCC) engineers have performed corrosion engineering surveys and corrosion control designs for dozens of military facilities, bases and assets owned by the government. Structures that have been the subject of our evaluations and designs include: locks and dams; sheet pile bulkheads; bulk fuel storage tanks; hydrant piping; gas distribution piping; steam and condensate piping; water piping; underground fuel storage tanks; elevated and at grade water storage tanks; and building plumbing systems all owned and operated by the military or government.
RCC performs base-wide surveys that include regulatory audits of corrosion control systems. These surveys typically start with an inventory of the existing cathodic protection systems at the facility. Cathodic protection systems on gas piping, gas and oil storage tanks, and water storage tanks are evaluated in order to provide detailed recommendations for upgrades that can be readily implemented by the facilities.
SERVICES WE HAVE PERFORMED:
- Cathodic Protection Designs
- Cathodic Protection Troubleshooting and Remediation
- Field Surveys
- Corrosion Rate Measurements
- Coatings Evaluations and Recommendations
- AST/UST Storage Tank CP Evaluations
- Material Selections
- Program and Project Management
RCC has performed an extensive amount of research for the U.S. Military. We have performed corrosion rate evaluations of structures in severe environments, cathodic protection feasibility studies, and manufacturer surveys of various cathodic protection components for use at military facilities.
Russell Corrosion engineers have performed work for many government and military clients that require security clearance. We have always been up to the task and we look forward to helping our government and military achieve their goals.
